P-01 Excessive Ejection Distance?
« on: October 17, 2016, 11:19:41 AM »
My CZC P-01 throws brass to about 4 o'clock and 20' to 25' on a concrete pad.
That distance seems a bit excessive. I don't think my documentation indicates what weight hammer and recoil spring were installed in it.
I do have a recoil buffer installed, and I see no apparent battering of the frame.
Is this typical of the compacts or should I investigate further?

I put a slightly stronger recoil spring in my PCR, but I don't remember how it slung brass with the original spring.  I bought it in 2000, so quite a while ago.  I put a 18# or 19# (I forget) Wolff recoil spring in it, and it works great.  You may want to consider doing that.

Yea, I will look at my documentation tonight and see if CZC indicated what they put in it.
