HBI has a new safety lever

Just installed both Left and Right HBI Mini AK Style safety selectors on my CZ Scorpion.

Not too long and seems to have about the right amount of resistance.
They stick down just far enough to easily tell it is on safe when you move your finger to the trigger. Simple flip up and your ready to fire.

They fit flush with the side of the receiver, so they should work fine with folding stocks. Should be easy enough to push up to fire with a folded stock, however it looks like the stock might be in the way for flipping it back to safe without unfolding or using the left side selector.

Easy to operate the right side safety with trigger finger when shooting right handed.
Like-wise easy to operate the left side safety with trigger finger when shooting left handed.

Useless if you plan on using anything other than your trigger finger to operate them.
I don't see the need to use my thumb and having both installed gives me flexibility.
My daughter shoots left handed so it is a bonus for her.
Glad I went with both left and right.

Think I am going to order the left side mini for my scorp. Might be a better alternative to having a delete on the left side of the gun when it comes to the folding stocks. Going to safe to fire may not be that bad but back the other way with the stock folded may be a bit difficult.

As a leftie the left side short AK style safety from HBi is awesome. Use my trigger finger knuckle to click safety off and reach up with trigger finger to turn safety on. 5 stars for design and value.

Reaching for the trigger you will feel that the safety is on.

I received my left side mini ak lever..  OM-golly.  I love it.  i decided to remove the regular right side AK lever to see how the function  would work with the stock switch.    I absolutely love this set up.  The right side allows me to switch with my thumb to engage as was the intent by cz; while,  the new mini gives my index finger the ability to recover to safe with ease. 

I guess ill have to swap the right side out if i go shooting with right handed friends ; however,  i love my new set up and its a small price to pay.

Really like this safety lever. Definitely an upgrade from stock. Thumbs up to HBI!

Decided to go mini ak on both sides. The longer lever is great but I wanted a bit more resistance when actuating the safety.

I've gone through just about all the options and this setup is the best!

I bought my Scorpion in early May, and quickly learned of HB Industries great aftermarket parts, and installed several parts, including the  left hand delete and the long AK style on the right side.  I was quite satisfied with the results in comparison to the OEM designs. However, after hearing of the release of the shorter AK style levers, i installed them on both sides and couldn't be more pleased with the results.

Now, if I could only get some good news from BATFE......
