Just brought home the new P-01 I won at auction Friday.

Excellent fit and finish, and I can't believe how close the machining tolerances are on this P-01. I can't feel any horizontal or vertical play on the slide to frame fit, and the barrel to slide fit is perfect. The barrel to barrel bushing gap is maybe .003, might even be closer. The factory test target is dated April of 2016. I'll get it to the range as soon as i can and follow up with a performance report and target pics.

Finally got to fire the new P-01 today, and I couldn't be happier with its performance. Ran 350rds without a hint of a hiccup.

Thanks guys. This was my second CZ purchase, and I couldn't be happier with them.  Yesterday, at a farm in Indiana, I ran 150rds of 124gr Speer Lawman, 100rds 124gr Freedom Munitions and 100rds 115gr S&B Nato through the P01. It could have easily eaten another 500rds if I had more ammo with me.

Congratulations! I prefer the trigger pull on the standard P01 vs the Omega (still have the P07, and had a 75b Omega). Dont get me wrong. I like both, but the Omega seems mushier to me.

I have a steel frame P01-type CZ on order. Looks exactly like a P01 except it has ambidextrous safeties instead of decockers and an all steel frame. Kind of like a Compact L except a steel frame. Probably more like an SP01 Compact.
