Oh man, ordered a P-01 in MARCH!
It's OCTOBER!
It's HERE!
Went to greet her today.
Year 16 on the slide, so she is my sweet 16.
Living in MD, I have to wait another 8 days they said.
My Glock took 30 days.
So she came with full size mags that have to get shipped off to my buddy in a neighbor state, then I can just bring them back.
I ordered 2 10 round mags today so I dont have to wait to catch up with my buddy.

They had me order the 14rnd model because they said it would be easier to get, then they could pin them or send them out of state.
This whole time I had a text alert set for any 10rnd ones for sale...
Started getting alerts yesterday so, I call my shop I ordered from to tell them to use the depost toward my transfer of a 10rnd I found and they said:
Yours came in last week, your phone number is wrong! WTF, lol.
So I went to do the paperwork today. 88 freakin miles each way.
I hate MD, really need to move back to Delaware.
I bought my Sig and took it home in 20min on the way home from grocery shopping when I lived in DE.

Oh 2 things,,, the barrel is black, all of it. had a hard time seeing the sn on it.
   and the sights are the brightest factory dots I've ever had! maybe they are doing some things different now?

Not sure why you'd wait 7 months to get a P-01 but congratulations. 

If you had called-around, you could've easily found a P-01 in-stock at either Baltimore's Best Pawn in Finksburg, 2A Supplies & Service in Jessup, Atlantic Guns in Rockville/Silver Spring or Duffy's Gun Room in Sparks.  They're all stocking CZ dealers in our area.  There have also been a ton available on gunbroker.com and Armslist during that time.

Also, if you had purchased from any of those dealers listed above they would have been happy to plug the standard-capacity magazines to the MD legal 10 round capacity.

I DID get it from Atlantic, just didn't know I was going to have to wait 7 months.
Apparently CZ only ships a couple times a year.
And I did want a factory fresh one from a CZ dealer, not some used one from a pawn shop.
Nobody outside MD would ship a 14rnd gun here.

I ordered a PCR from TechNet Armory off gunbroker.com back in August and they shipped to 2A Sales in Jessup with the standard-capacity 14 round magazines.  2A plugged them for me, no problem.  The statement that "nobody outside MD would ship a 14 round gun here" is not correct.  Some will and some won't.

The dealers I identified in my previous post are all stocking CZ dealers who carry new inventory.  Your concern about buying a "used one from a pawn shop" is completely unfounded but, if you don't believe it, call Dan yourself at 410-526-1011.

I guess not but, then, you don't see me posting misinformation as fact and the fact is, if you waited 7 months for your P-01 it was because you wanted to wait that long, not because there weren't any P-01's available and not because you couldn't get one with standard capacity mags shipped to MD.  I've been doing business with Mark Schneider at Atlantic Guns for years.  In fact, I bought my P-01 from him back in March.  I know they have had several in-stock at both their Rockville and Silver Spring locations since then.

Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt your feels but when you come in here with a story that has more holes in it than a slice of Swiss cheese someone is bound to call you out on it.

I've purchased two firearms from Mark Schneider at Atlantic Guns this year: a P-01 and a Remington 700.  There's no way in heck they would make you wait seven months to get a P-01 from them, although, since you gave them the wrong phone # that may have had something to do with your extended wait.  Who is JD Fast?  Never heard of him.

But your contention that online retailers won't ship a gun with standard capacity magazines to MD is what I really took exception to.  That is patently false.  Some of them will and some of them won't.  I never had a problem transferring anything I bought via gunbroker.com thru 2A Sales in Jessup.  All one needs to do is pick up the phone and call the online retailer to find-out for sure.
