LUVO TT9 Camo

I recently bought this piece from one of my LGS.  The gun came in about 6 years ago and sat in the box eversince.
I did looked at their website and in company profile it said they're the original CZ ~ well I put this small review here just in case that is not fact.
The gun has 3.75" barrel, chambered in 9x19 Luger, and comes with lower Polymer Frame.  It is a DA/SA gun with safety/slide lock looking exactly the same as the P01.


From Top view, the slide is cut on top to lower the weight.  Front sight is built-in and part of the slide, rear sight is adjustable windage only.
No safety on the right handside.


The gun can be carried in 'cocked and locked' position.


It comes with 15-round magazine, compatible to CZ magazines but not the ones for TS models.


This "DPM" 2-step recoil springs setup comes with the gun.  The gun also has Firing Pin Lock safetly feature.
The internal upper look very simlar to those of P07's.  The lower looks almost the same as normal P01 except it doesn't have hammer strut and uses different hammer spring setup.


When in hammer down position, the safety can be engaged, and you can't squeeze the trigger.  So you can carry this gun in cocked and locked, hammer down ready to fire, and hammer down with safety on.

This Pistol was not made by Ceska Zbrojovka - Uhersky Brod, the original and current manufacturer of the Cz75 pattern handguns, but by one of the other Czech Arms Manufacturers, most notably with some help from Tanfoglio, as the frame appears the have the same design as the Polymer Framed Tanfoglio Pistols and the Turkish SAR K2P. 

By 1993, Czechoslovakia had split into two democratic republics: the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic (also known as Slovakia). Virtually all military production of all types was clustered in Moravia, or the eastern portion of the Czech Republic. As the centralized and nationalized military industrial complex began to fragment, several facilities nominally affiliated with either Brno or CZ-UB started new lives as independent firms. Also, major industrial concerns, such as the old Strakonice plant (which had mostly produced heavy machinery and motorcycles from 1954-1991) recommenced small arms production. An influx of foreign capital stimulated new private companies in the arms and munitions fields. As such, many companies producing small arms began to emerge in the late 1990s. Confusingly, virtually all of them incorporate "CZ" into their names and/or the markings on their weapons. In the last decade, other companies in the Czech Republic either manufacturing or exporting arms included Alfa-Proj, Arms Moravia, Ceska Zbrojovka-Strakonice, and Zbrojovka Brno. Presumably, the Zbrojovka Brno plant will continue to manufacture arms under CZ-UB ownership.

I believe that your Pistol was made by Ceska Zbrojovka-Strakonice, as were other Tanfoglio influenced designs.

Looks like this is a copy of the large frame Tanfoglio design to me.  I'm only basing it on the visual cues from his pictures (the magazine appears to be a large frame and the extra polymer reinforcements on the frame itself that is a sign of a large frame), and the fact that they also offer this TT series in 45, which would lead me to believe it's based on the large frame model.  I'd doubt the TT series would take CZ magazines without modification. 

I agree with JWC that the ST9 on their website does appear to be small frame. 

Interesting that a company based in the same country as CZ comes out with a clone of an Italian companies gun.  LOL.  Are these available in the States or only Europe?
