cz 97b single action problem

Hi,
Just bought a cz97b,
Installed the flat SAO trigger, removed the disconnector.

Now i have a problem the pistol is not resetting.the screw is completely in so the trigger is against the frame,so no more travel to the front

Annone done this before?

Check to make sure the trigger bar springs are in the grooves under the trigger bar first.

only one was on, i checked my shadow and there was also only one on.

I think the trigger was out of spec, i had to shorten the underside..and the next thing i tried was to take a little of from the front where it was against the frame.
Just a few .3 and now it is reseting!!!!

Never shot the 97 and now i have to  wait until sunday.

Think i gonna shoot it first next time before making such modifications,,,lol

Most SAO triggers are not designed to work with the stock firing pin block system.  The reset is to long. 

These triggers really are intended to work with either a shorter reset system or on a CZ with no firing  pin block.  (Yes I realize the CZ75B SA has a factory SAO trigger, but there is no pre-travel to accommodate this pistols long reset).

To realize the ultimate single action trigger and a much better reset the firing pin block and lifter must go. It makes a 1911 jealous.

Worked all night and removed the firing pin block.

Do i also have to remove the lifter? i read  about replacing it  with a ring or grinding it.

The pin you get when removing the disconnector, can be used perfect as  the trigger spring install slave pin.

You will need the wide sear or a ring spacer to take up the space the lifter was in. In a pinch I have cut off both the top and bottom of the OEM lifter to create a spacer. You don't want to leave either end touching anything, just something taking up that space. The bottom leg of the lifter is creating the longer reset and the top of the lifter may cause a jam so if you cannot find a spacer where you are be sure to remove all of the top and bottom along with the lifter spring. If I remember correctly you are not is the US so getting aftermarket parts is an issue for you.

Now i understand why there was not much difference in the reset, even after deleting the FPB.
I am gone look to make a spacer and otherwise i wil grind it.
