cz service

I had an issue with a brand new P09 I purchased. I sent it back and have waited nearly 7 weeks with no response. Is this normal?

Not yet. The web sight says 4 to 6 weeks so I was trying to be patient with them.

When I sent a pistol to CZ. They emailed when they got it. Every week after I received an email with a status update.
I would call if I was you.

The update they send out every week is just the automated form saying they will get to it in 4 to 6 weeks. Not much to go on.

Depends on how busy they are. They could be backlogged or they could be short handed because some one is on vacation as well. I've had to use CS twice in the past. The first time the gun came back within 8 weeks. The second took about 12 weeks as they were waiting on a shipment of guns to come in to replace my defective pistol.
I've had other brands spend far longer at CS than I have CZ's so their wait time is not inordinate.
Give them a call and ask for an update.

I miss understood you. I thought when you had no response that you weren't getting the emails at all. If that was the case it was more of a better check that CZ even got it.  So at least you know it's there.
I still would give them a call. It couldn't hurt.
