Trainer with American stock?
« on: November 19, 2016, 04:00:09 PM »
I want a rifle with iron sights, and American style stock. I guess I want to know 1.) Does the American stock fit the trainer version of the 455 and 2) is there a market for the trainer stock, should I decide to sell it?

Why not buy an American, and a Trainer barrel set?

That's the beauty of the 455 system.
I had the right to remain silent...

but not the ability.

If I were in your shoes, and I even remotely wanted a different caliber capability, I would buy an American in that caliber (for me .17 HMR), then buy the .22 trainer barrel from CZ. http://shop.cz-usa.com/ProductDetail/00214_455-Bbl-Set-22lr-Training-Rifle

I don't know about the market for the trainer stock alone - I would guess so since you can buy a trainer barrel from CZ.

Have you shouldered a Trainer? The hog back stock and iron sights work great together.
