    Yes a got the new one.
    They are both 97B's with an 18 year age differance.
     The trigger bar is not traveling far enough back to lift the disconnector after swapping the parts from the old to the new pistol.

     I will PM you about the barrel after I get this issue straightened out.

A shame to let the old slide go to CZ Heaven. Any chance the crack can be undercut and Tig welded?
You could then clean up the weld bead, reblue or Cericoat the slide after heat treatment.
Seems do-able but the issue of serial numbers is valid. Plus it is an old girl that deserves a second chance...known a few of those...
