Anyone get their hands on a P10c yet and if so, what do you think of it.

They haven't been seen in captivity yet. Still waiting for the release.

CZ USA claimed on their facebook page that they are expecting an initial shipment of P10c's by the end of this month.  Shouldn't be too much longer after that before the distributors receive them.

I think they also stated that first shipment is only 1,000 pistols. That won't last long for all off the U.S.

Glancing at forums for other manufacturers, there seems to be a great deal of general interest in the P10C even outside us CZ fanatics, so my guess is that they could ship 10,000 and they will still be hard to find for a while. I've heard roundabouts that LEOs will be snapping up most of the first shipment anyway.

I'm really happy to see CZ have another hit gun. Glocks have been surpassed for so long it's not even funny. The Gen 5 ended up not being anything special

I'm not sure if I want CZ to suddenly become popular for the mainstream shooter.  That's a selfish thought on my part, but right now, CZs are still overlooked at the average gun shop and prices remain reasonable.  CZ is already running at capacity, so it's not like they are in danger of closing their doors if they don't increase sales.  The P10C has the potential to change that.  Glock has been playing the same tune for decades and Glockaholics get excited at groundbreaking changes like adding or removing finger grooves.  The market does need a new, up to date, take on the striker fired pistol and the P10C has the potential to deliver a striker fired gun that actually ships with a good trigger.

If CZs suddenly take off in popularity, and if they cannot ramp up production to meet the need, it may become harder to get our hands on them when they do finally  show up at gun shops.

I can only speak for what I see in the area I live(N.E.Ohio). There are several shops that regularly stock CZ's here and they don't go overlooked at all. They move off the shelves pretty quickly. I'm interested in seeing the P10C up close even though I probably won't buy one since I'm not in to striker guns none the less I hope it is successful and takes off in a big way for CZ. I'm sure they will do what is needed to keep up with demand if that situation arises.

I guess overlooked is not the right term.  What I mean is that when a new shooter goes gun shopping, they don't necessarily start looking at CZs.  It's usually the big names that get them and CZ is not as known as Glock, Springfield, Smith and Wesson etc.  On the other hand, maybe if they do become common, one of these days we'll see a gun shop counter with 5 different P10Cs in 9mm, 4 in .40, with a strong selection of every other CZ.  The reality is that CZ is already making as many as they can and if everyone jumps on the CZ bandwagon, the prices will rise while availability plummets.

Yep, the laws of supply and demand.

In the short term, this is true. In the longer term, if CZ makes enough sales in the US, it increases the likelihood of opening a plant in the US and manufacturing their top sellers domestically.

And that, in turn, would raise the possibility of 922(r) compliant Scorpion pistols, and maybe single stack pistols that don't have to meet import points.

All of this, of course, depends on having enough sales to merit that kind of investment, and the short term pain of low supply and high demand.

We also get to play the ultimate hipster card: 'I was into CZ before it became cool'.

Nice!

These guys use to make their gun store video's just a short distance from where I live. It is still where I buy some reloading supplies.
