I received an invitation to an impromptu breakfast yesterday from the shooting club a few counties over. I thought at the time this was odd. Anyway I accepted and got up early and drove over to their meeting place. This past year I had met quite a few of their members and had done some work for them on many of the old surplus guns they acquired from different importers. After we ate a grand breakfast cooked by some of the Wives they gave out awards. I received this gun back unfired from the day I finished it for a friend of mine who shoots in their club. I have never charged any of them for helping them out so they all got together and purchased this gun from my friend and gave it back to me this morning. I don't think I have ever been more humbled. I am still kind of numb as I never expected anything like this. They also gave me a free membership for life. What a great bunch of guys! Merry Christmas to everyone!

Sounds like a great bunch of people to do that for you. They're showing their appreciation for all you've done for them. Karma can be a great thing. Congrats on your gift. Merry Christmas to you.

Sometimes we do things in life and wonder if they ever made a difference in people's lives, or even appreciate it. And then there's times like this when those people that you have done things  for surprised the heck out of you. Good luck with the new pistol Merry Christmas and God bless.
