P09 or P07

Don't know if the P07s have more trigger problems as evidenced by all the posts here vs the P09 or more people buy em.

My guess is just more people own P-07s. Triggers on the all of the stock P-07/09s I've handled were pretty similar.

Once you experience a great CZ trigger, stock just won't do LOL

To the OP, I would go with the P-07 as my EDC and home defense, then add the Shadow 2 as a competition firearm.  You really can't lose regardless of whatever choice you make.

Question. I just  purchased a P09 and like it so far but after caring a 1911 for 20 years I have a question. The only way to carry a 1911 safely loaded is cocked and locked. The P09 came with a manual safety which I installed but can I carry it unlocked with the hammer in half cock to use the double action (first shot) without the slide moving the firing pin and making contact the hammer like the 1911 does and causing a discharge ? It looks like it clears but not 100% sure...

Yes, it can be carried either way safely... it has a firing pin block that is moved aside as part of the trigger pull.

Guys, thanks a lot for all the advices here. After doing the basic IPSC course last week, i think i got hooked and went for an Ipsc ready Pistol , so i bought the Shadow 2. i am very happy with it, so precise! Only draw back it's that is a bit too heavy. I feel it mainly when i do dry shooting drills, although it was not a problem at the range.

Most likely will go for p07 as the second gun and if i decide to do Idpa  :)
