Anybody have CZ Scorpion Carbine stock that wiggles??
« on: February 26, 2017, 12:49:23 AM »
I have a brand new CZ scorpion carbine and the factory folding stock it comes with has some slight wiggle side to side. I haven't ever been able to feel another CZ scorpion carbine so I have nothing to compare it to. I understand it is a folding stock so the wiggle could just be what happens when having a stock that folds. I just want to figure out if that's normal or if there is something wrong? Thanks everybody.

I also have the carbine, and my stock has some wiggle, but it is not at the hinge. That part of the stock is ridgit. The extension part has a sloppy fit and those parts wiggle a little. When I put it to my shoulder and pull it in, that movement is undetectable. In fact, I have not been bothered by it at all when shooting it.

My stock had a very slight wiggle also.  It was an annoyance, but had no effect on accuracy or function.  I put a small piece of double sided foam tape on the receiver side of the hinge and another piece on the stock side of the hinge.  Now it locks up tight, with no play.  I never fold my stock, so this works well for me.  But if you do, it will look kind of trashy.
