I modified the subject line on this thread since I tested the same arrangement with a 38 Super barrel in place and it ran fine. That's using the 45ACP slide with a 10mm extractor installed. I also tried it with 38 Super Comp brass (9mm rim) and that didn't work very well. It stove piped about 10% and ejection was erratic.
