Quick first time out with EVO pistol w brace
« on: January 03, 2018, 05:56:37 AM »
Took the wife out to the desert to try out her new 22 and I wanted to try the Scorpion. Didn't have much time this time around so only fired 60 rounds through it but am thoroughly impressed so far and can't wait to spend more time with it. Since I am a practical fellow I paced off the longest shot I might have to take inside my house should the need arise which is 50'. Set my stand up at 15 yards ( 45' ) and fired off 10 rounds of 147gr Federal HSTs and 50 rounds of 115gr Fiocchi ball...

10 rounds of Federal 147gr HSTs, 1 shot per second, aimed

Lower right is 30 rounds from my suppressed AR.. Wish I could say thats where I was aiming but it wasn't... good group though.

50 rounds of 115gr ball, 1 shot per second, aimed w/ reload

Put some more trigger time on it and an optic and watch those shots basically go through the same hole, I use mine to play battle ship on the targets.  Started at 10yds and it was boring so we kept bumping it back and found that 15 yds is about where we were finding that we were limited by trigger control, granted the dots on battleship are 3/4? but you can tell where your shot went soon as you pulled he trigger
