Found the perfect brass-tipped overtravel screw
« on: April 25, 2017, 01:38:57 PM »
Not sure where the best place to put this...

Call me OCD but I didn't like the steel screw hitting my purdy blued steel CZ97.
Finally got around to ordering these:

(stock number: 94085A091)
They are a perfect fit.

Nice! Great find, thanks for sharing. I wonder if the Nylon tipped screw might be better for alloy frames, such as the RAMI or PCR. Thoughts on durability?

I can't help but think that the soft brass will eventually compress lengthening your over travel distance over time....

But at least that won't keep the gun from functioning...

Just my two cents..

I agree and plastic tipped screw will be even worst in this regards.

Sadly, I don't get to shoot enough that this will probably be a problem but I'll keep an eye on it.
Agree on the plastic/nylon tips being too soft.
