new family photos
« on: April 17, 2017, 05:54:32 PM »
Just got a set of Walnut Grips from Grips4u.net for my CZ75B to match my RAMI, plus a UBG holster for the RAMI.  Nice looking pair dontcha think?  I may need to get a CZ75 compact to complete the set. ;)

Yes, I do think --- NICE!

Have you had much stick time with the UBG holster, particularly in cross-draw configuration?  I have their Regulator OWB with snaps for the RAMI and it is great (on strong side).

Don't use it cross draw, I use it @ 3:00 strong side in a high ride, neutral cant configuration (bottom slot) for my shoulder.  Seems to work well and conceals better than a forward cant.

Nice!  There is just something about the way a Rami looks that I just love.  I've been living vicariously through this forum since Sept. when I experienced a shoulder injury and haven't been able to shoot.  I had surgery in February, but I haven't yet been able to hold my arm up well enough to make a trip to the range.  At least I get to look at the gorgeous photos!

Pretty SCWEET Fam!!! I see I'm not the only UBG Holster fan! Nate has some great products and workmanship! I have a Striker for my Rami! Really like the double clips to distribute the weight evenly. Gonna get 2 RTBA's for my P09 and P07

great looking grips.  Love the walnut.  and one of the few options for the BD version.

I was hesitant based on the description that they're thicker than the factory grips -- I run thin grips on the rest of my CZ's, e.g. G10 and am afraid of going the wrong direction.  Can you comment on the grip thickness compared to stock, maybe even take a clear picture of the grip profile from behind the gun?

Rainsong,  I too, love the look.  I would also like to know if they thicker than the factory grips, thinner, or about the same?  Another question: are they stickier than the stock grips?

I'm looking at getting a RAMI, and love the look, but I'd forgo if they didn't improve the grip.

Thanks.

Kind of hard for me to tell,  I would shoot an email to grips4u.net and ask.  They are very good about replying.

I've got grips from them on my Jericho and REALLY like them.  They do add a little thickness - which is a good thing for me.  I also e-mailed Grips4U to ask if the same increase would be true for RAMI grips and they confirmed it would.  As to "stickiness," the walnut trips are definitely not as sticky as the stock rubber grips.  I actually prefer the feel...and, the walnut is less apt to snag clothing when carrying.
