Will Regular Upper Function on Omega lower?
« on: June 12, 2017, 08:58:45 PM »
Looking to purchase one of the Urban Grey threaded barrel 75 Omega's. Would my 75BD upper operate correctly on the Omega version? I know the Kadet II works on both Omega and non-Omega lowers, but it was updated from the first Kadet version to function correctly. Haven't been able to find an answer if regular upper will work on the Omega lower.

Thanks

Why not just buy as 75BD? I do not see any reason to buy Suppressor-Ready UG 75B Omega Convertible then swap the slide for a 75BD unless you want a pistol with a black slide and a UG frame.

If that is the case then you may want to check the hammers between the two pistol.  The hammer used for the omega system is thicker than the hammer on the original CZ trigger system.  The omega hammer might not fit the slot at the back of the slide made for a traditional CZ trigger system.
