Made a Canik Upgrade

I traded in the old TP9 SFx for the new SFx Rival Dark Side. It has without a doubt, the best striker fired trigger I've ever felt. Nothing else comes close.
Rage trips are going to be fun with this Sweet Beast. The quality of the Canik target pistols is simply amazing, and this Rival was only $587.00

I just pickup a Mete Pro SFx. Trigger is terrific but not planning on any rage trips.

Congratulations on your acquisition of a new Canik SFx Rival Dark Side and may it serve you well!  8)  :)

I've been carrying a Canik TP9V1 for quite a few years now and could not be happier with it!  :)

I upgraded mine with a Freddomsmith trigger and lighter springs. At this point, it's hard for me to imagine a better striker fired pistol. I haven't been this happy with a pistol purchase since my first CZ(P-01).

Wow, I can only imagine. The stock trigger is absolutely phenomenal. I was just thinking that if one of the major manufacturers
produced a pistol this good, they would want at least twice the price.

Looks like you get a lot for the money. I trade dinto an SFX a few years back, but never fired it. I traded it off a few months later. I just moved away from polymer striker guns is all. I wish I would have fired it though just to know how it ran.

They definitely give you a lot for the money.

I'm going to shoot mine in a 4 stage Steel Challenge match Wednesday night. Will be interesting to see how I do with it compared to my P10.

Cool, let us know how it goes. By the way, which Freedomsmith trigger did you go with and did it drop right in?

I bought this one since it has a less prominent hook on the tip.

Also installed these springs as I've read that the FS trigger can increase pull weight a little.

The gun is super easy to work on, took me maybe a half hour to swap parts. Pull is pretty consistent at 2.75lbs IIRC. The FS trigger removes almost all of the pre-travel, I didn't have to do any fitting at all. You can also use a Cajun 75B fpb plunger spring to replace the oem Canik plunger spring if you don't want the Sprinco kit. Even by itself, it makes a difference.
I was also impressed with the  Oem Canik internals, most everything is super smooth...chrome plated I believe.
