First time pistol shooting in a long time
« on: December 11, 2005, 10:34:54 AM »
I have not been pistol shooting in months. I haven't been shooting as much as I would like to for a while, but when I have gone, it has not been pistol. I've shot rifle to hone my skills (or lack there of ;)  ) for hunting season. I've shot trap several times. I also went plinking with my .22 and .17HMR, and I shot my favorite of all, my PA long rifle. So after a bit of a vacation from pistol, I brought my CZ 75B 25the Anniversary and my CZ Kadet to a indoor pistol range I just found. It took quite a few rounds to get back to where I was before.

Here is my final CZ 75B 25th Anniversary 9mm target:
50 rounds of S&B JHP @ 18 yards

Here is my final CZ 75 Kadet .22lr target:
50 rounds of PNP HP (cheap stuff from the range) @ 18 yards

Both were shot in groups of 10 (10 rounds per mag) with a short break in between groups (my sciatica was acting up). Notice that the three fliers in 9mm formed their own group, and they were spread out over different mags; not shot in a row.

Darn good shootin'!!  I shoot quite a bit (Cowboy Action) and then go to the indoor range about once a month to shoot my CZ's (mostly my 97 & 52's, but once in a while my 100).  If, after all of that shooting, my groups looked yours I'd be a real happy cowboy!

I know it's me, not the guns.  CZ's just don't shoot badly!
