New trigger exchange group and 922r compliance??
« on: September 03, 2017, 12:23:01 AM »
What are folks' thoughts about the new trigger exchange group assembly and 922r compliance? During the year-long wait for CZ USA come through with their trigger swap program, I (and likely several others) changed out many parts on their Scorpions with US-made aftermarket parts. I did this to make sure that my Scorpion was 922r compliant in anticipation of filing for an SBR tax stamp with the BATFE.  Now a year later, I have the SBR tax stamp, and just received the trigger exchange group assembly from CZ USA. What I received from CZ USA was basically a new complete trigger assembly, including trigger, safety, etc.  Has anyone received any information from CZ USA about the 922r compliance aspect of the new trigger exchange group assembly?

If you already changed oit parts for aftermarket items why did you take a step backwards and get a new group with qiestionable parts.... aftermarket safety, trigger parts, muzzle devices, mags etc are more than enough 922r compliant parts. Also kep in mind even the atf admits they've yet to enforce or prosecute anyone on 922r compliance....
CZ Scorpion Evo S1 Pistol:

SLR Synergy Mini comp
SBT-EVO Brace
PMM Safety Levers
Dual HBI Prostock Charging Handles
Gearhead Mag Release
HBI Trigger Spring
HBI Delta Trigger
PMM QD Front & Rear
Magpul MS1 + QDs
Holosun HS515cu on ADM low mount

If you wanna use the new pack just move all your upgrades to the new pack...otherwise use it for parts back up. I moved all my upgrades to the new pack (mag release, trigger shoe and safeties) to the new pack and started running it that way. My hammer was quite chewed up so...

I signed up for the trigger swap right after I bought my Scorpion. We have exchanged posts about our Scorpions on this forum. After a year of waiting, I wanted to see what CZ USA sent out to us suckers that bought the half-baked international model. Oh no, I had way too much fun and expense installing some great aftermarket parts to go back.  Though, it nice to have a spare trigger assembly, if needed in the future.  Regarding the BATFE, I am also aware that they haven't specifically gone after for 922r non-compliance. I guess that I just don't want to be the poster child, they go after, certainly do not need to elicit their unwanted attention. It would be nice to know if the exchange trigger assemblies are 922r compliant

Thanks.
