There are some days that are just better than others...for many reasons.  Way back when, to my best remembrance, Scarlett Pistol made a post about a one off pistol...I got hooked...nearly a year latter Bapple posted a for sale ad in the forum...a never fired pistol that he had ordered completely Cajunized...and today was just better than others.  Thanks to a very easy transaction with Bapple I now have a very big smile on my face.

Picked the pistol up today...120 rds later...tried it out with plenty of my standard S&B 115g and lots of other JHP's.  For a HD pistol it's got to love all kinds of ammo.  Every round fed and fired perfectly.

Here are the very first shots at 25 yards using the Atlanta Ammo JHP's...I felt really good about only having three rounds hit outside of the black...for the pistol's very first shots outside of test firing!  And my first shots with it!

Seems that I can always tear it up with my standard ammo.

My SD ammo that I trust is the Federal HST's...I was in high cotton when I saw the results shooting it at 25 yds with this new pistol!!!

It was good to see the pistol easily handled the rubber nosed Hornady JHP's with ease.  Looks like I'm going to have to test this pistol with some more 124g rounds...it's shooting tight groups with them.

Here's the cumulative results of my shot's today at 25 yds.  It is a no bull!@##, bullseye shooting pistol straight out of the CGW's box...no doubt about it!  Looks like I'm pulling the trigger to the right some when firing the pistol.  Some more range time with it should help correct this.

As anybody with a CGW modified pistol already knows, it's a smooth shooter.  Trigger reach and pull is short, firm and friendly.  Dawson sights are dead on (maybe a rear sight tweek latter on based on my learning curve).  Mechanical action is accurate like a Swiss watch.  I see why people swap out the safety...the original one is smaller than my very first paycheck.  I changed out the slim grips for the original rubber ones...I love the rubber ones on all of my CZ pistols.  Overall, putting this in my hand was like visiting home again!  Now, it's getting prepped for HD duty.

Looks like a good shooting pistol.

And a fun day at the range.

I really can't say about 124 grain bullets but all my CZ's shoot 115 grain bullets better than 147's.  I've got some 124's to try out, just need to do it.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

Very nice...good deal for everyone, pistol, upgrades and shooting. Gun stuff and paycheck analogies are never funny! [emoji3]
