I've been wanting one of these but choked on the regular prices of ~$500.

Seemed almost too good to be true.
I hope I'm not missing something.

Are these the Type 2's?

I think they're the original RMR RM01 (type one). Not the updated ones from mid-2017 with TWO battery contacts.
Still a great deal and AOK by me at that price.
 The 6.5MOA's sold out quickly and as of a couple days ago they still had 3.5MOA's but they may be gonzo now.
