Removing trigger bite while remaining production legal?
« on: September 16, 2017, 07:37:38 AM »
Like the title says. During rapid fire, especially with my reloads, the trigger hammers into my finger and it really starts to wear on me after a while. I was looking on Cajun Gun Works, hoping to find a trigger with a straighter curve to cut down on it, but I can't find one that would be production legal. Any suggestions for what I can do?

Or am I mistaken, and will the 85C trigger work just fine?

I am long winded. Ask me what my favorite gun is, I'll write you a novel. Hell, I have trouble deciding what gun to grab for when the dogs bark at night :o.

A lot of people recommend the 85c trigger. I have one in my Shadow, and while I *thought* I didn't mind the recurve trigger, I think the 85c trigger has a much better profile. Also, the 85c is a factory part, so there shouldn't be an issue with Production.
1) Cajunized CZ 75 Pre B
2) Soon to be Cajunized SP-01c
3) SP-01 Shadow

A number of shooters here have switched to the older model  85C trigger for the same reason.  My two 75s have said trigger with no problems.

Can I get a link to one that is specifically production legal?

Remove the reset over travel screw and it's legal.
CGW and/or CZC folks can tell you what options are available for that trigger shape. Schmecky/'Stuart here on the forum.
