Live from the pistol range 75B target shooting.
« on: September 06, 2017, 02:12:25 PM »
It has been two months since the last time this pistol was shot.  Warm up shots...

Now, time to try with the Joe L preferred ammo.

It's a very nice start.

The first string of 85 was just whacked...the 2nd 5 rds did not behave like any of the other 45 I had just shot.  They all dropped and landed below my POA.  Open a new box and I get the high score of the day with a 97-5X.

Last two strings.

Here's my cumulative results for 80 AA JHP's shot today.  Overall, the AA's were very nice shooting rounds.  They grouped very well and   had a low recoil.  The JHP's made nice clean holes in the target paper that were easy to see and score.  I have 120 rounds left to shoot and experiment with.

Nice!
Perhaps on 25yrd at your current level ammo doesn't make enough difference yet?
I would like to see rested groups on the longer distances with both ammo to compare. The difference may be more apparent.
