CZ 75 TS want to change out plastic trigger ?
« on: October 03, 2017, 12:23:50 AM »
Hello,  Just got my new 75 TS and ordered an Aluminum trigger from CZ-Custom. how much of the gun will I need to take apart ?
Been watching some Youtube vids on the Subject. The only vid I can find that about the TS has the gun totally disassembled.
Watched a couple other vids of CZ 75 like SP01 and 75B an they just poked out a couple of pins right above the trigger.
Looked fairly easy. Is the TS done in the same manner ??

thanks

I'm not sure if you can swap triggers on a TS without pulling the sear cage?  But do yourself a favor and purchase a CGW trigger pin for the TS:  https://cajungunworks.com/product/75006-tactical-sport-trigger-pivot-pin/

It's not the end of the world to pull the sear cage.  On the TS there are two extra springs that help tighten up the sear cage (found on the back).  Don't loose them!

The TS has a slightly different trigger return spring but the installation is nearly the same.  If you find a CZ75 install video you can tackle the TS.

Cheers,
Toby

Some of the best Tactical Sports YouTube videos are by abyss1232.

I thought I wanted to replace my plastic trigger due to it flexing. After I adjusted the post-travel, there was no more trigger flex when I fired, because since the trigger stops as soon as the pistol fired, I no longer had a tendency to keep pulling and flex the trigger.   I adjusted the pre-travel as well, and got to like the trigger as is.

Plus, the adjustment screws tend to stay put, and not loosen and back out in a plastic trigger. So no need for thread locker.

For instructional videos, there is a great set by Scarlett Pistol in this CZ Gunsmithing section on this forum; however, they are not TS specific:
