Shadow LPA rear sight adjustment
« on: October 22, 2017, 04:11:59 PM »
Hi guys. I just picked up my new SP-01 Shadow, Cajunized of course.
Shoots flawlessly- but 3" left of poa at 15 yards, about 5" at 25 yds.
How do I adjust the rear sight to the right to make the correction?
The adjustment screw only seems to move the sight to the left. It would certainly help my IDPA score!
Thanks in advance.
MIke

If you've run out of adjustment with the adjustment screw, you'll need to tap the rear sight to the right.  Make sure you remove any set screws first.

I have an LPT-TRT 860-053 adjustable rear (Kensington) on my cajunized SP-01 tactical (CGW did the sights/slide milling as well) and adjusted 2 clicks to the right while at the range.....the screw was a $&## to move...was afraid I might break something (but did not). Spoke with Micah at CGW last week, and he indicated to me that it was a bear to change but holds the adjustment. I felt dumb asking the question, but prior to this I've only used fixed sights.

EDIT: Spoke with Scott today about something else, and he also indicated that specific sight was a #%$^ to adjust....he just used a more polite term :)

Have to ask,  but is the sight dead center on the slide top rib lines?
