I had a similar problem with the Shield mini sight on my M&P 9L
Jpoint will send you a shim, but I had to use 2 to get mine in the correct range
I ordered one of these and it works with the shield as well.

Now I'm zeroed in at 50 feet dead on
Thanks for the link to Delrin Shims made to fit between various model RDS and mount. Good to know I'm not the first to run out of adjustment; and no need to reinvent the wheel.  :-\
I just ordered a set to try. They're cheap enough, I wish JPoint had supplied them in the first place.

be careful when tightening or loosening the  adjustments , I cranked my elevation down all the way and killed my first one.
it took almost a month to gt a new one sent back from England. over tightening any of the adjustments will short the light circuit and you're
out an RMR. I would call Shield and ask them to send you a couple, they will send them (we're not the first to complain about this)
but it will take a while for them to get here. the Delrins shipped almost overnight and on my M&P < had to use both
the one shield sent and the Delrin. the one shield sent my was quite a bit thicker than the Delrin too.
make it criminal to own a gun and only criminals will own them

Thanks Kmanick,
This is very good advice.
I have several JPoints, made by Shield but imported to US by JP Enterprises.
I may have damaged one by over tightening the elevation screw. Light is still on but adjustment up or down is no-go. I'll contact JP and see what they say about replacing or servicing; but meanwhile the one I have on the P-01 is fine with the tape I added to shim/tilt.

Got the Delrin shim today; but unfortunately it doesn't fit the JPoint hole pattern. Back to the drawing board.......
So, I called JP Enterprises today; and they were very helpful suggesting I send them the JPoint optic, they'll double check the adjustment is working as it should; and send back with some shims. May or may not be any charge depending upon what they discover.

I guess the bottom line to all this.....when you order an optic for a compact handgun; because of the shorter barrel and greater angle; probably best to get a couple of their shims while you're at it. They're cheap enough.

I'll report back after it's all done.  Thanks Again
