CZ Custom Handguns
« on: January 21, 2018, 12:37:05 PM »
I have four CZs which came from CZ Custom.  They are as follows:  Shadow T (purchased by me directly from CZC); Shadow ( purchased by a friend directly from CZC); CZ Compact L (purchased by me directly from CZC; and a CZ 75B stainless (purchased by a friend locally and sent back to CZC and converted to SAO).

Question are as follows:

Does the Shadow T and Shadow have the SRTs?  They are identical with the exception of the adjustable sights on the Shadow T.  Both have the short dust covers (no rail) and the boxes are marked SP-01 Shadow.  Both slides are marked with a 2010 date and the serial numbers are only a few digits apart.

Does your shop keep records on modifications done to customer guns?  The reason I ask is that the 75 stainless has the best trigger I have ever seen.  I would like to know if there were any other modifications which were made to this gun other than the conversion to SAO.

Thanks,

Offline Stuart

Thanks,

we have records. will depend on when pistol was built.

a pistol built in 2010 will not have the short reset in it but should be able to be added if  you desire.

Thanks for the reply!  I was just curious about the embellishments on the Shadows.  The CZ 75B stainless is another story.  I'll check with my gentleman I purchased it from at the IDPA match this weekend in an effort to find out the timeframe when it was sent in for the work.  I do know that a local gunsmith did a trigger job and botched it up.  That was the reason he sent it back to CZC.
