Rust blue is my favorite by far, but a good polycoat looks nice as an alternative. I bet it'll be a sweet shooter.

I've done several Rust Bluing projects, they are very nice finishes .....VERY time consuming too. Can't honestly say I would want all my CZ's with Polycoat but this one will do. ;)    As far as it being a shooter, time will tell....I'm looking forward to throwing some lead down range.  I had thought about doing a CGW 10X Bushing but when I checked the fit of the factory barrel and bushing there was zero play to my surprise :o , so thought I would give it a go at the range before trying to improve something that may not need it.

This project reminds me of when I was in a Pool/Billiards league years back, and I was told about hustlers going into pool halls with a pool cue that looked like one from off the halls public use cue racks.....it was anything but a run of the mill cue, they were called "Sneaky Pete" cues....they didn't necessarily look special but underneath it all they were made of better wood, tips, better balanced, and true (not warped).....much like in the movie "The Color of Money" w/Paul Newman & Tom Cruise.........This CZ kinda fits that bill, looks like or could be confused with a standard factory production but really isn't in nearly every facet.
