Does the 75 Omega allows to swap from safety to decocker?
« on: August 04, 2017, 04:19:25 PM »
Hi all,

I'm wondering if the CZ75 with the Omega trigger runs mechanism allowing to swap the safety for the decocker, like P07 and P09 do.
I'm not sure, but it seems it's a 2017 new feature. Right?

Thank's

Yes the newer versions are convertible. The early 75B Omega is not.

I have a #91135 75B Omega (convertible) Yes you can swap the decocker for the manual safety. I found manual safety has a slightly smoother trigger pull. I has less parts than a SP-01 and is very easy to work on. I am very happy with how well it shoots and the ease in which I can enhance the trigger.

Hope that helps.

It really is a piece of cake to switch over.  The first time may a bit tough, especially the decocker part, but there's nothing to worry about flying away or the like.  In fact the whole assembly can be taken apart much more easily than on the normal 75 trigger/sear group.  I prefer to run my Kadet on the convertible just because it's easier to clean up all of the gunk 22 leaves behind if I want to detail strip it.
