While someone else may shoot tighter groups with the SIG, I don't find them to be comparable overall.

I'm sold on CZ and if you consider the work that CZ does... ??????

I honestly want to like the sig.? But that shadow 2 is lights out? It?s hard to shoot it alongside the other guns in my collection? I wonder how it would compare to the Sig P210a target?!

Probably similarly, I'd imagine. Both should shoot similarly to a good 1911.

Unless those groups are out of a random rest I am not sure they are meaningful beyond the fact you shoot the CZ better then the Sig. I bet if you put them in a mechanical rest the groups would be almost identical. Also the real test of those guns would be 50 yards IMHO.

I have both as well (not with the Cajun bushing on S2).  As a tack-driver/plate-shooter, the S2 (which I converted to SAO) definitely takes the lead. But for competitions like IDPA/USPSA, I like moving around and shooting on the go more with the Legion.  Lighter and a bit more nimble, if you will.

I also split time in SSP/Productoin divisions with my Legion DA/SA and SP-01 Tactical.  I'm considering a CZ Tac Sport as well.

Nice shooting. Both very nice guns. I love my Legion Sao and my cz tac sport. Wouldn't get rid of either, I'm about as accurate with both. Although the cz has way less muzzle flip being a heavier bigger gun.

I have both, the sig 226 Legion SAO and the Shadow 2 both stock.  I ran both off a bench/bag rest and shot the sig better however I had well over 1000 rds through it vs maybe 20 through the CZ.

Not a real good test since the CZ hadn't settled in yet.  The CZ has more potential and fits me way better.

I think the test was done I 30 yes but I cannot remember.

I have a Sig P226 SAO Legion that Robert Burke from The Sig Armorer tuned for me.  The trigger feels close to a CGW or CZC tuned Shadow, but the entire gun just does not fit my hand as well.  I still shoot my SP-01 better than I shoot the P226.  Not much experience with an S2 yet, other than a range trip.

Sweet shooting OP. Legion SAO is a full on service firearm, something to go into combat with. Just something to keep in mind. No way it can shoot like a gun designed for target shooting. And then an aftermarket bushing added too?

I definitely shoot my CZCustom Shadow Target better than my SAO Legion. The Sig Xray sights are great for self defense. The Legion's trigger is very nice too. The reset is shortest of any handgun I've ever fired.

Man I'd love to try out a worked over legion Sao trigger. I like my stock one, can't imagine how yours would be. Wanna sell it  ;D

I would like to try it as well. I have yet to find any Sig trigger that comes anywhere close to my shadetree work. ;)

Maybe some day once I'm done retiring and moving out of your once-golden state.
;)

I'm not a big Sig handgun fan, but since people at CGN couldn't stop clamoring about the P226 Legion SAO, I had to get one.  The stock trigger, other than the short reset, was not much better than, say a CZ75b SA.  That is why I had to have one of the best Sig gunsmiths out there work on it to compare to our best.
