P-10 backstrap
« on: February 16, 2018, 04:31:48 PM »
Hello,
My new P-10 is arriving tomorrow and I wanted to know what punch tool you needed to replace the backstrap? Also if I need to take the gun apart for like replacing the trigger, what kind and size punches do I need?  Thank you for the help

I've heard that removing the pin to replace the backstrap is very difficult. Any truth to this?

Its a total pain. I took mine to a gunsmith to punch it out (did not charge me) so i could try all the back straps. After deciding to keep the small one I had him install the HB trigger and put the pin back. I emailed CZ to get a 2018 catalog and give me the pin size, no reply. I did garbage up one end of the pin trying to get it out myself. I needed to try all sizes before ordering talon grips.
