So... are ANY P01 Omegas Safe yet?
« on: February 19, 2018, 11:29:47 AM »
Seems like the trouble is ONLY the P01 models, and not any other Omega's.

Are the 'new' ones good?  Or by year?  2016, 2017, 2018?

Its a shame as they were such cool guns with some innovation.

Everything anyone seems to know about the P01 Omegas.

I've done made up my mind, if I run across a 2017 made P01 Omega I'm going to have to buy it just to see if I can duplicate it, figure it out and then fix it.  And then I'll put the safeties in like I do on all of the Omegas.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

I have a 2016 made P01 Omega- a great gun, one of my favorites.  I?ve had zero issues with it and I shoot it quite a bit in my IDPA matches.

Can?t speak for others? issues, but mine?s a keeper

Found a post in the big thread.  Seems like 2017 was not a good year.

I have a 2016 with all cgw upgrades and safeties.  I've shot many rounds through it without a single hiccup.  I love the thing.  I was able to lock the slide, turn it upside down, press up on the ejector and make the left side safety fall off.  I simply dimpled the right side safety and cannot duplicate the issue.  It's a fantastic handgun as it is stone reliable, very accurate and soft shooting, and east to carry in my custom IWB milt sparks holster.  I'm sorry others have had issues.  I haven't had any in the real world.
