SIG Romeo 5 co-witnesses great
« on: February 22, 2018, 02:43:55 PM »
I could not find this with a search, so just wanted to post that the the SIG Romeo 5 co-witnesses with factory sights and the low-rise plate it comes with. One of my favorite budget optics ($150 with next day via Amazon) I prefer it to my EOTech 5.12's and have started using it as my go-to optic on new builds.

I did see a thread where someone posted they had success with the Romeo 4 as well.

I've found the Romeo 4c to be the ideal red dot optic for competition, hunting pigs, and tactical training classes.

I  bought a Romeo 5 last week for $128.00 shipped from Sportsmans Outdoor Super Store. Still at that price for a couple more  weeks. I saw it for the same price at other vendors also ($119 +shipping). I put it on a Buck Mark camper and I really like the optics size and dot  brightness.

Holosun 403B also has a perfect lower 1/3 cowitness using the low mount it comes with. I really like this style of sight and just like the Romeo, love the price point and quality of the optic.

I believe these are made by Holosun to Sig's specs, as also are the Primary Arms red dot sights. I have one of the Primary Arms units on my Scorpion Evo Pistol and love it! I'm not sure if it's as bulletproof as my Aimpoint T1, but at their selling price I really don't expect them to be. I can say this, the glass on my Primary Arms unit is clearer than my Aimpoint T1 which has a blue hue to it.

Yup all made by holosun. At the time the sigs were higher priced but now theyre the best bang for buck. Also the styling on them matches the evo pretty well. I got the holosun 515cu only wish/want would be themotion sense power on feature that is standard on the sigs and optioned on certain holosun models instead of the button on off I have now, but thats me nitpickin.
