Turnaround time for CZ-USA Warranty Work?
« on: March 01, 2018, 05:46:23 PM »
I just sent my P-09 which was having feeding problems into CZ-USA for warranty work.   An email from CZ stated to allow 4-6 weeks for repair to be completed.  What have the turnaround times been recently?   Do they generally take this full time period or do they usually get the pistols back sooner than that?

Sorry, just anxious to get it back and have it operating at full capacity so I can shoot the heck out of it!  hahaha

They received mine Feb 5th. I get a weekly email stating that it's in process. Almost there...

My turnaround time for warranty service was one day less than 3 weeks. They are really good about getting things done and shipped back to you.

Is ship back to me with FedEX and a signature required on receiving the package?
Because I am rarely home during delivery time, and FedEx office is pretty far. I would rather have UPS if signature required.

When I had to send my P-01 in for warranty work, they said 4-6 weeks just to get it in to look at it.  I believe it was pretty close to 6 weeks.  Then it took them only a couple of hours working on it before they gave up and sent me a new gun.

So it pretty much looks like I'm in for a 4 to 6 week wait!  Thanks all for responding.

Mine took 5 weeks, BUT, I told them I was in no hurry and rush orders should go before me. This was also a rifle, not a pistol.

It is my understanding that all firearm shipments require a signature whether they are shipped by FedEX or UPS.

All firearms must be shipped "Adult Signature Required".  As an FFL, I see lots that are not sent that way, but they are supposed to be.
I remember when "Common Sense" was common.  I must really be old!
