Looked at the CZ-USA web site but they didn't give a LOA for the 457 Varmint. They did list a LOA for the 457 American Combo at 38.2" with a 24.8" barrel length. So 24.8" minus 20.5" would be 4.3". 38.2" minus 4.3 would be 33.9 inches. That sounded short so I measured a 452 Full Stock with a 20.5 inch barrel at 39 1/4 inches. I would guess your 457 Varmint would be in the 38.2" to 39+ inch area but I cant say for certain. They list the Royal with a 20.5 inch barrel at 32 inches long that would mean that everything from the barrel breech back (the action and butt stock) would be 11 1/2 inches long. The length of pull (from the recoil pad to the trigger) is longer than that. Unless some one else can offer a definitive answer it might just be best to measure your rifle and then order your case. Sorry for the long non answer. I think I'll take the CZ catalog dimensions with a couple of grains of salt from now on though.
