New P-10 Owner, Punch Sizes
« on: July 25, 2018, 05:24:04 PM »
Hello, new to the forum and soon to be new P-10 owner. What are the common punch sizes needed for the P-10? Any unique tools needed for a detail strip of the p-10?

I am coming from 30 yrs of Glock and recently sold every Glock I owned. Starting fresh with a new platform that is CZ. I have joined the dark side and I am thrilled!

Thanks!

I just replaced the factory trigger with an HB Industries trigger and the only punches needed for disassembling the slide or the key components of the frame are a 1/8" roll pin punch (even though one of the two 1/8" pins is a solid pin), and a 3/32" roll pin punch for the other two pins.   (The solid pin can sometimes be pushed out without much force -- just easy pressure; the others take  heavier blows from a hammer, and a light brass hammer might not get it done quickly.   There's a great instructional video on YouTube by HB Industies for their Theta trigger P10C trigger.

Because I didn't have any roll pin punches,  I ordered a small set of 4 roll pin punches from Midway USA for about $15 (on sale).  They came the same day as the trigger kit.  That may be all you'll need.

Here's a link to the MidwayUSA products:  https://www.midwayusa.com/product/191653/lyman-roll-pin-punch-set-4-piece-steel?utm_medium=email&utm_source=service&utm_campaign=shipping-confirmation&utm_content=product-shipped-today-product-description-link

The frame roll pins are 2.5mm and 3.5mm.

The backstrap pin is an oddball size.  Maybe 5/64 or 2 mm if I recall.  I used an old  drill bit to drive it out.

Yes, I believe you are correct. I bought the Grace USA roll pin punch set and the 5/64 fits the back strap pin.
