CZ75B SAO Conversion NEED HELP
« on: April 17, 2018, 06:25:05 PM »
I recently purchased a cz75b in 40 s&w.
last night i swapped the trigger for a flat aluminum trigger from Dlask Arms and removed the diconnector.  Now the gun doesn't work. I did not disassemble the sear cage. The hammer cocks. The safety works.
When the hammer is down, the trigger can move the sear.
when the hammer is cocked, it won't fire.
The end of the flat trigger contacts the trigger guard which ceases rearward travel.
Is it possible that the trigger is not travelling far enough to the rear?
I'm confused.

Don't know your model trigger, but I don't think any trigger should be contacting the triggerguard on the bottom.  Sounds like a compatibility issue.

I just did more inspecting. When I install the trigger it works.
When I push down the trigger bar for a reset it quits working.

Put it back to stock. Then change one thing at a time until you find out what change is causing the problem.

I figured it out. YES!
I had to file the trigger where it contacts the frame in front.
Now in can reset.

Up inside the frame?  The front/upper part of the trigger contacted the front/inside of the frame and restricted forward movement of the trigger?

If so, I had the same issue on a CZ75 Compact I converted to SAO using a trigger from CZ USA (the straight trigger).  It happens.  One reason why you see that little disclaimer on some of the parts vendors web site about getting a gunsmith to install the parts.  Sometimes everything goes together and works great, sometimes not.  That's when you ask for help/take a break and think about it some more.

Glad you figured it out.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

The front portion of the trigger contacted the inside of the frame.
I spent a few hours on it in the evening and did exactly what you said. I took a break and finished the next day.
