I just picked up my first CZ yesterday, a new P-10 c. I'm drawn to striker fired pistols with really good triggers. I love my PPQ with my only knock on it being the somewhat high bore axis. After reading about the P-10, I was hopeful that it may have an equal trigger with a lower bore axis. So, i decided to give it a go.
First impressions, everything is tight, especially the controls. Mag release is very tight. Slide release is unbelievably stiff. I expected the slide release issue based on research, but it is much worse than I anticipated. The mag release was a surprise. My first pull of the trigger was a letdown. Basically felt like a Glock, especially with the stack and creep after you hit the wall and before it breaks. Far from terrible, but not in the same league with my PPQ's, current M2 or previously owned original/classic. I have dry fired the trigger probably 200 times now and it seems to be improving. Also cycled the mag release and slide release a couple hundred times. Mag release is better, can't tell much change in slide release.
Will all of these improve significantly with use? If so how many cycles or rounds fired can I expect before that happens? Haven't fired it yet, but looking for hope that it will get much better than this.
Hoping to get to the range to shoot it this weekend, so no comments on how it shoots yet.
Thanks in advance for feed back.
