Good Lord man, we're in a gun forum not "Miss Manners". I would think you would assume we're talking about handling firearms.

Has nothing to do with miss manners. You post some home made nonsense that only you understand and then get upset when you are the only one who understands your euphemisms.
I think we all understand how to conduct ourselves carrying or not. We are all grown ups here.
See the very first post previous to your last post. English language, read all about it.

Practice what you preach. we speak the english language here. Save the hieroglyphics for you cave wall.

Ho hum this conversation has lost any intelligence as though it ever existed anyway. Think I'll go practice my awareness or something. Maybe have lunch with miss manners or my old english teacher.

Open carry if you must.......concealed just eliminates so many "issues" with nay-sayers, law enforcement, general public ignorance/fear, making yourself a target possibly......no one really needs to know, can't think of one thing that open carry does, that concealed carry doesn't do much better......just saying  ;)
More open carry by good folks might normalize views that guns are tools that can be put to good use.  So many people now a days are only exposed to Hollywood portrayal, blood sport video games or ganstas.  This ignorance from the general populace is perhaps the greatest threat to the 2nd ammendment in general

I would very much like to believe that open carry might normalize views on guns.......reality tells me that one person in an instant can erase the good efforts of many over years, and the media won't let anything good come out of anything even remotely associated with a gun.  Nice thought, shared by many.........realized in a meaningful way by nearly no one  :-\
