Has anyone destroyed a ProChrono ?
« on: March 14, 2018, 08:23:53 AM »
Has Painter shot anyone's ProChrono yet ?

Some how I got distracted and left my unit out overnight in a torrential rain. I've dried it out by bringing it into the house for 24 hours, and it seems to work just fine. However, there is now pine straw between the front label and the display.

I'd like to dis-assemble the unit for cleaning, but I can't seem to find the latches holding the unit together. If someone has a busted unit, I was hoping they could send me some photos or hints on dis-assembly.

Thanks !

Might help... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLOnd45Sp58

Looks like maybe a screw in the battery compartment along with the tab latches.
I had the right to remain silent...

but not the ability.

That little thing to the right side, up near the middle of the image looks like Robbie The Robot holding a bow and arrow, bow in the left hand, string in the right and arrow horizontal across the body.

I wonder how many people today know what Robbie the Robot was?
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

Sorry, I've never had occasion to take my ProChrono apart, except for the Battery Hatch.

I wonder how many people today know what Robbie the Robot was?

Danger, Will Robinson !!

Note that there was quite a battle between the Lost In Space Robot B9 and alien "Robbie", but I could not find a complete Video of that final Battle.
FWIW, Robbie lost.

Also note that I seem to have adopted that same gimpy, arthritic way of walking that Robbie has !

I was working up loads for my PS90 and put  a 34gr  5.7X28 in mine  with the sights setting so high over the bore it was easy to do. I'll take a look at it for you before I send it back for a rebuild. I don't know if I can see much it kind of looks like a small bomb went off.

I remember. They got some miles out of Robbie. Forbidden planet, The Twilight Zone, Lost in Space and an episode of Columbo are the ones I remember.

Thanks but it still works very nicely, I'd simply like to get the pine straw out. Painter's video showed me where the retention clips were quite clearly.
