Can you flare without dispensing powder on Dillon?

Cmon, you don’t lose that much powder through the flash hole for it to be a real issue.

If you’re loading a very fine powder like AA7 or SWMP, you will make a mess on your shell plate. Heck, it even leaks around the powder bar so I had to call Dillon and have them send me a thicker spacer.

Load a shot shell without a primer. It doesn't matter what powder you're using.

I need to seat a primer in order to remove the case at station 3 and dump the powder back in the hopper. Without a primer, the powder just falls out. I'm getting powder all over the place.. I didn't realize how messy this could get.

When I make dummies I install a spent primer upside down so it is easily identifiable.
