Spent a little time at the range Saturday. Was not expecting new sights and modified trigger to magically improve things, but one can hope.
A coach I have worked with before came over to help when the range cleared. He could see the barrel dipping. I have a flinch. Worked a few ideas. Just going to have to work through it.

I'm a firm believer that the biggest improvements one can make are between their ears.
I have days that I shoot well and days I don't.  Shaking the flinch is my biggest hurdle...well, that and ever worsening eyesight.
It sucks getting older.  I have a Vortex Venom, just trying to decide whether to put it on my P-09 or P-07.

Right now, I'm leaning toward my P-09 since it is my backyard range/home defense gun.  My P-07 resides in my truck for carry when hiking.

If you have a flinch, the best way to get rid of it is to shoot a .22 LR pistol for a while. Then when you shoot 9mm; consciously shoot it the same way you shoot the .22. It sounds like useless self-deception, but it works. And isn't that what you want?

I have a S&W M&P 22 Compact, and for a while I every time I went to the range, I would shoot 50 rounds of 22lr, then switch to either my 9mm P07 or my 9mm Shield. I saw a huge increase in my accuracy, it really helped.

I do a lot of dry fire and then a lot of range work on the basics with a Ruger 22 pistol with a red dot sight on it.

An expert shot, is a person that has mastered the basics.
