Hello all, I recently purchased my first CZ pistol (have a 455 .22LR), the 75B. It lives up to all of the praise - love it!
I've noticed that the position of the slide stop changes, in terms of its distance to the frame, ever so slightly with shooting. I bought it brand new. I've got about 600 rounds through it so far. After field stripping/cleaning and putting it back together, there's no light visible (significant gap) between the stop and the frame. A tiny gap "shows up" after firing a while (single session, a number of rounds but usually 50-100, and we're talking standard factory loaded 115gr FMJ rounds, not +P, handloads or anything out of complete ordinary). Basically the slide stop moves out/away very slightly from the frame. Have not had a single malfunction from the very first shot I fired from the gun. I'm not worried that it will "fall out" (I saw some other posts discussing how hard it might be to remove the slide stop, some people can do with finger pressure - not the case at all with mine - no way finger pressure (that I can apply!) will push it out; I took apart a wooden clothespin and use one "arm" of it as a tool to (a) push the pin out and (b) using the other end of the wood piece I can better leverage it out, and the wood doesn't mar the finish).
But I was just wondering if anyone else had seen this slight gap appear with firing on their pistol and if so, has it ever caused an issue? Though I doubt mine (for reasons noted above) could ever possibly come all the way out, I just wonder if it could migrate out just enough to prevent it from holding the slide open/functioning properly.
Many thanks!
