Timed fire target today with P-10C
« on: July 22, 2018, 09:12:36 PM »
I got my P-10C back from CGW this week and got to shoot it this morning.  It has the CGW P-10C package and the slide milled for a new Burris Fast Fire 3 3moa red dot.  This is the first pistol I have owned with a slide milled red dot.  I like it.

CGW re-used my Glock 4 lb striker spring but changed the front sight, striker, trigger, recoil spring assembly, whatever is in the kit.  They returned my factory trigger with the glob of J-B Weld I added to increase the trigger reach...and immobilize the trigger safety lever.

I zeroed the new sight at 25 yards using 20 rounds two handed from a rest (while sighting through a camcorder) and then went right to Atlanta Arms 115 JHP, standing, single hand, at 25 yards.  The trigger takes some getting used to after shooting steel 75B and 97B"E" pistols for 4 months.  After 80 rounds or so, I was getting used to it (again).  But, I was only shooting low 90's while learning the trigger, just like I do with the P-09/07 if I haven't shot them in a while.  But, the "feel" for how much pressure I could put on the trigger while the dot was settling was coming back.  The last target was a 99-6x!  At a timed fire pace, roughly, but without a timer or range commands.  Here is the target.  No, it is not average.  It is a fluke, my kind of fluke.

I am happy with the pistol.  I posted a video in the "Day at the Range" section.
