I currently have a PCR and a P-07 that I alternate carrying. I love both, and I'm perfectly happy with them as my carry guns. I'm now interested in buying a handgun more for fun and customization, like slide work, optic milling for an RMR, compensator, etc. From what I've seen the most common platform for this is Glock, but I'm also curious whether there's enough aftermarket support for me to go wild on a CZ pistol. So I'm also considering a P-10c or another P-07. So my main question is, if you were to go crazy customizing a handgun, which of the above 3 would you go with, or would you choose something else?

I have the Springfield XDm OSP with a Vortex Venom affixed on the slide.

It shoots equally as well as the CZ's I own (like 7 of 'em)

Great trigger, match barrel, and your choice of optics from Vortex, Leupold, Burris & Trijicon.

If you "just hafta" have your reflex sight atop a CZ - then go with the P-07.

YMMV

P07mall the way.

Mine is very much like the one pictured, but minus the rear sight.

I have found rear sights to be worthless on a pistol with a RMR. I speak of both for self defense and for combat style competition. If your RMR should happen to die, just drive on using the RMR window and the front sight to get the hits you need.

Classic examples of, How much money do you want to throw at it... Clearly, as these examples above in raining brass's post show, the only limitation is how much money is in your checking account.. ;D

I just sent my P10C slide off to Jagerwerks for RMR slide milling.  They offer the same service for the P-07 and Glocks at a pretty reasonable amount.  Rather than going nuts on serrations and cuts I opted just for the RMR cut, dovetail for the rear BUIS, and a pocket cut on the top of the slide in front of the ejection port. The last request was purely for aesthetics.  I thought about additional serrations on the front chamfer but in the end talked myself out of it since I?ve not had a problem racking the slide with the factory serrations.

Prior to the decision to add an RMR to this gun I added a HBi trigger, CGW guiderod so I could experiment with different spring weights, CWG striker, and Dawson fixed sights.  I did shoot about 3K thru the gun to decide if I liked it enough to dump more $$ into it, including several USPSA and 3-gun matches.  Added a TLR-1 HL for night stand and periodically when I shoot a night match.

Once the slide comes back with the RMR cuts I?m going to add Dawson front and Ameriglo rear iron sights, get some +5 extensions for the mag and thinking about shooting USPSA Carry Optics division with it (as well as night stand and CCW).
