First Primer Pop
« on: July 28, 2018, 10:59:16 PM »
After months of virtually trouble free use, my Loadmaster has been giving me fits the last couple of weeks. Today I had a primer light off - the first time in over 30 years of reloading. So I stopped trying to load anymore, emptied the powder, then came inside and ordered Magic Mike's LM survival and primer guides. I hope it helps me get this thing running right again!

Thanks for the tip. It happened to me too. About 8 primers were affected. There was a loud pop and smoke rolled out of the press. I replaced the feed with a new one from Lee. There is still an occasional flipped primer but I know the feel now and stop and check everything instead of just pulling harder like the last time. I'll be getting the guide. I rarely get more than 100 rds before I have to pull the shell plate.
