DWX compact mag release

Does anyone know if there is a compatible mag release that is lower profile? This one digs into my support hand palm. Same issue with my shadows. I’ve ground them down and/or installed thicker grip to reduce the relative prominence. Can always do that here but if there is a lower profile mag release out there…

Last I heard, there is still not a replacement part being made by anyone.  When it happens, Ill be first in line,

Yep. Couldn’t find anything either.
Now I just need to learn how to remove the mag release to grind it down a bit
Anyone know of a video on how to do that?

Shadows. use the standard D style release, it is slightly shorter.
DWX, no options so far, have to do it by hand.

Anyone know if a video on how to remove the dWX compact mag release?  The manual doesn’t really help.

Well I gambled and fiddled with the little screw on the offhand side of the mag release and it pops right out. A little study and I know, now, how it works and replaced it without issue.

Have to say this is an easy gun to take apart overall. Seems well thought out.
