That was fun. CZ I tried the P-07, P-09, P-10 C, 75 D PCR and Scorpion. Dan Wesson I tried the Discretion 9mm, ECP 9mm and ECO .45 ACP. I was really impressed by the stock P-10 C trigger.

Got there early before the crowd.  Had some meaningful discussions with the representative and store owner.

The rep was also an Aggie and happens to own a CZ 550 chambered in .458 Lott that he got in a special deal (used).

Nothing there that I really wanted or didn't already have.

Picked up a new catalog and then went over to Texas Shooters Supply where I purchased CZ #30 in my collection--a CZ 75 P01.

I currently own a CZ 75 Compact, a CZ 75 Shadow Tac II & a CZ 99041 which I recently picked up. I had not handled any of the rentals I tried today so was a nice demo day. The Dan Wesson ECP 9mm has me interested.

Try to find any ranges in your area that have events. Join their mailing list, watch their social media & their web pages. I caught a Smith & Wesson Demo Day at Top Gun Range in Houston so now keep an eye on them for any future demo events. Caught SilcencerCo Demo Day last year at Spring Guns and Ammo. I know Spring Guns had a Sig Sauer Demo Day recently but skipped it, nothing I wanted to try.
